Initial situation
The initial need was to extend and modernise the existing water network infrastructure, and optimise the distribution systems. The pumping station had become insufficient due to the increased water demand.
Caprari proposal
4 vertical lineshaft units complete with 200 kW 4-pole electric motors, each used in the dry chamber version.
Benefits obtained
The pumping station supplying drinking water was modernised with the installation of the 4 P series units, which guarantee a flow rate of 750 m3/h and a head of 78 m, in a dry chamber.
The installation of vertical lineshaft pumps in a dry chamber is a compact and highly efficient solution that’s perfectly suited to various types of installations. In this case, we were able to provide pumps that offer low energy consumption, improved system efficiency, and lower maintenance costs
The P16D/DN350 PN16 adapter flange was also supplied to match the existing PN.
