Initial situation
Need to expand the water network in the area of the Municipality of Cluj.
Caprari proposal
4 in-line vertical multi-stage stainless steel electric pumps of 30kW each.
Benefits obtained
This pumping station provides the water supply for 20% of the area of the municipality of Cluj and two neighbouring residential areas.
The Neobral team replaced the old pump unit, which could no longer guarantee the required flow rate, with a new unit equipped with four 30 kW Caprari CVX 901 vertical electric pumps, for a total flow rate of 400 m³/h.
Despite the limited installation space and the system’s complexity, the water supply only needed to be briefly interrupted to carry out the work activities.
The Neobral team was able to install the pump unit and put it into operation in less than 6 hours.
