The ASA consortium has a single pumping station, which services all the land belonging to the consortium members, approximately 700, covering a considerable area to be irrigated. The previous station has been completely replaced by the new one.

The pumping station has a capacity of 1350 m3/h, supplied by the 6 CAPRARI vertical lineshaft pumps, and is suitable for irrigating more than 1800 hectares.

These efficient and reliable pumps offer several advantages for agriculture and for the sustainability of water access and distribution operations. One of their greatest strengths is their flexibility in terms of depth of extraction. Vertical pumps can adapt to the specific needs of an agricultural area, as they work well both in shallow wells and at considerable depths. The Canet ASA pumping station was inaugurated in the presence of the Prefect of the Aude department and the President of Canet ASA.
