Sea Water Fire Fighting System Pumps

Operating on an offshore platform such as WHP4 in the Nené Phase 2 project involves extremely demanding challenges, particularly regarding fire safety. In this context, the customer required a firefighting pumping system capable of using seawater while guaranteeing operational continuity, corrosion resistance, and maximum reliability— even under the harshest marine environmental conditions.
Caprari solution
To meet these needs, we supported Proger and ENI in the design and supply of the Sea Water Fire Fighting System Pumps: booster units built with materials and technical solutions specifically developed for offshore applications. The pumps were engineered to withstand seawater, corrosive agents and mechanical stresses due to prolonged operation, ensuring consistent performance over time.
