Our commitment to a sustainable future

CAPRARI’s business model is designed to create shared sustainable values over time for both the business and the land alike

With our sights set firmly on the future, we offer essential products and services in the world of water. Guaranteeing only the highest standards of efficiency, our aim is to improve the lives of the people and businesses of the areas we operate in.

CAPRARI is a reliable reality, capable of evolving alongside sectors which are themselves in a continous state of transformation, breathing life into an ongoing journey of sustainable growth.

Our strategy and ESG commitment

Our growth strategy is in full syntony with the construction of an inclusive, sustainable and resilient future for the population and the planet, a goal that the United Nations Organization (UN) looks to through the “17 Sustainable Development Goals”, included in the 2030 Agenda, the action program for people, the planet and prosperity signed in September 2015 by the governments of the 193 member countries.

Since several years we have been implementing policies to limit environmental impacts and maximize social benefits along the entire value creation chain.

In particular, we pursue the achievement of objectives 2, 6 and 9. Furthermore, in order to make our operations more efficient and guarantee solid and lasting relationships with all our stakeholders, we have created a dedicated action plan and set specific KPIs for monitoring.

Sustainability report

Caprari considers sustainability to be a concrete expression of its corporate values, and it is fundamental to the creation of a relationship of trust and credibility with reference stakeholders.

Every year we prepare a sustainability report in order to transparently report on our social, environmental and economic performance. Transparency towards all stakeholders is an essential principle that guides our company in all its activities and that also translates into the choice of drawing up the annual Sustainability Report on a voluntary basis.

Rating EcoVadis

For many years now Caprari has been engaged in taking appropriate steps to improve the sustainability of their own business practices. As a testament to this, the company has certified their actions with EcoVadis, a leading figure in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management.

EcoVadis, one of the most internationally influential rating platforms for sustainability, scores businesses on the quality of their CSR management systems.

This evaluation method is based on international standards and examines performance of 21 indicators across 4 areas: Environment, Work, Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Purchasing.

Supporting NON-PROFIT organisations

Over the years, CAPRARI has supported a variety of non-profit efforts with the aim of helping communities. The group’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is an ongoing and determined undertaking, part of an overall plan centred around industrial development. After all, only together can we build a business founded on inclusive progress for all stakeholders.

Zambia: the Mthunzi Centre

Water is a right for all

We have been collaborating for several years with the Amani Onlus Association for the realization of various projects. Amani was born in 1995 to establish and support community homes, educational, school and professional centers in Kenya, Zambia and Sudan. Caprari supports, in particular, the Mthunzi Center, in Zambia.

The center hosts 60 street children and young people who can study, take care of the vegetable garden and of the fish farming and the tailoring and carpentry workshops.

The Mthunzi Center is a socio-educational project run by the Koinonia community of Lusaka.
