Water supply from wells
Initial situation
Obsolete systems caused significant water wastage, and there was an urgent need to modernise and, in certain cases, build new systems. However, due to the war, this modernisation process was hampered.
Caprari proposal
Supply of 7 SCCs to the Khartoum State Water Corp donated by the ICRC.
Benefits obtained
The pumps supplied remained in storage for some time, imported for the Khartoum State Water Corp.
Thanks to a donation from the Italian Red Cross, the situation was resolved and the pumps were installed.
This invaluable initiative has enabled around 1.7 million citizens to benefit from access to water in an area where it is in short supply.
SCC pumps are horizontal split case pumps. Their robust and compact structure ensures high performance, reduced maintenance and long-term reliability. The wide range of pumps means we can offer the best solution for each individual customer. Ideal for waterworks, civil and industrial water supply, land reclamation, irrigation and industry.
