EL CHAPARRAL GOLF CLUB (Mijas-Málaga)
INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR
New reference project for a golf course in Mijas (Málaga), developed by the KAM division in collaboration with distributor TABOSA.
The project involved replacing five 8” submersible pumps rated at 50 HP from another manufacturer with a new configuration consisting of three Series P vertical pumps (model P 8P65) equipped with high-efficiency IE3 motors (30 HP, 2-pole), and one vertical jockey pump (model P 6P45) fitted with a 20 HP IE3 motor.
BENEFITS ACHIEVED
The adopted solution improves the hydraulic performance of the system thanks to more efficient operating curves and better adaptation to the duty points required by the irrigation network. The use of high-efficiency IE3 motors combined with Series P vertical pump technology enables a significant reduction in specific energy consumption.
In addition, the long-shaft vertical pump configuration facilitates routine and extraordinary maintenance operations, reducing downtime and improving accessibility to key components when compared with the previous submersible pump solution.
