Prior situation
The transformation of a large unused space of land in Biggleswade to form new industrial units for various commercial businesses. The drainage on site for the foul waste water led to an invert level of around 6m from the cover level meaning a pumped solution would be required.
Caprari solution
Caprari designed and worked with Morgan Sindall infrastruture to install a brand new adoptable pumping station to Anglian Water’s specification with the install of two caprari KC submersible sewage pumps as well as all pipework valves, electrical control panel and associated items.
No.2 KC Series Submersible pumps, all of the pipeline valves, the electrical control panel and related components.
Benefit obtained
The Caprari pumping station installation was among the first industrial unit installations to use Anglian water telemetry to report any problems.
