One of the UK’s leading Water Supply Companies contacted an M+E contractor and friend of Caprari with an urgent requirement to replace an obsolete Harland lineshaft pump. This critical process pump was part of a 4 pump system abstracting from an aquafer supplying village for an entire town.

Benefit obtained
The site required a minimum of three pumps to be working for everyday use during the summer months. This meant that waiting one year would put the end user in serious trouble during peak months and it was difficult to ascertain acceptible efficiency levels during refurbishment due to the age and nature of the castings.
